REBUILDXP · BETA
RebuildXP Terms of Use
Effective October 6, 2026.
Your progress is private by default. Start with one small step.
01 / THE PRACTICE
Direct email invitations
Send invitations only to people you know and have a reasonable basis to invite. Do not send unsolicited bulk invitations, impersonate another person, harass recipients, or evade sending limits or reminder preferences. RebuildXP sends the personal invitation through Resend and, while eligible, friendly reminders every three days. Recipients can stop reminders without creating an account, and authenticated sign-in also stops them. Administrators may stop reminders and restrict abusive use. Existing members may use an invitation to access RebuildXP, but only eligible new referrals qualify under the existing referral and welcome reward rules. Sends, deliveries, opens and clicks do not earn referral achievements.
02 / THE PRACTICE
Acceptance and eligibility
Effective October 6, 2026. RebuildXP is a beta personal-development web application operated by Bill Cole. By creating an account or using the application, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. The beta is for adults age 18 or older. If you do not agree or are not eligible, do not create an account.
03 / THE PRACTICE
Beta service and availability
RebuildXP is experimental beta software. Features, XP rules, content and availability may change, and errors or interruptions may occur. We may modify or discontinue features. Keep independent copies of information you need; the service is not an emergency or critical-record system.
04 / THE PRACTICE
Accounts
Provide accurate account information, use only accounts you are authorized to access and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for your account use and should report suspected compromise. Google and other sign-in providers have their own account rules.
05 / THE PRACTICE
Acceptable use
Do not harass others, submit unlawful or infringing content, distribute malware, upload another person’s private information without permission, send unwanted invitations, automate spam, fabricate progress through unauthorized access, probe other users’ data, evade security limits or interfere with the service. Reasonable authorized security reports are welcome through support.
06 / THE PRACTICE
Your content
You retain rights you have in uploaded pictures, feedback and other submitted content. You grant RebuildXP permission to store, process and display that content as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and respond to feedback. You must have permission to submit it. Do not upload sensitive records or material you cannot lawfully share. Public profile picture URLs may be visible to anyone who obtains them. For content you voluntarily share, this permission includes displaying the selected public snapshot, generating share images and delivering public achievement pages. Processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate and maintain RebuildXP, provide support, secure and improve the platform, and process referral attribution. This does not transfer ownership or grant a perpetual marketing license.
07 / THE PRACTICE
Squads and interactions
Squads are accountability spaces. Share invitations only with intended recipients, respect member privacy and avoid abusive or discriminatory conduct. Rankings describe recorded activity, not personal worth. We do not guarantee another member’s identity, conduct, progress or advice. When an owner deletes their account, ownership transfers to the longest-standing remaining member; a Squad without other members is deleted.
08 / THE PRACTICE
Voluntary social and public achievement sharing
Sharing is optional. Earning XP, badges, levels, streaks or achievements does not automatically publish them or create public links. When you explicitly create or distribute a public achievement share, you intentionally make its selected information available outside your private account. Anyone with the active link may view it. Review the preview and decide whether you are comfortable sharing the included accomplishment details and any selected name, picture or progress fields. You are responsible for your sharing choices and must have permission to share submitted content. Do not expose another person’s private information or use sharing tools for harassment, impersonation, spam, deceptive content or unlawful activity.
09 / THE PRACTICE
Sharing destinations and revocation
Facebook, Instagram and other sharing destinations are independent third-party services with their own terms and privacy policies. RebuildXP does not require a Facebook or Instagram account connection simply to use sharing and does not automatically publish social posts. Opening a Facebook sharing interface does not mean a post has been published; Instagram-oriented sharing may use native device sharing or image export. You may revoke supported public links through RebuildXP, which stops serving their snapshots and generated images. We cannot guarantee removal of information or images transmitted to, downloaded, copied, cached, indexed or reposted by another person, browser, search engine or external service. We do not control independent third-party platform behavior and are not responsible for it except where applicable law provides otherwise.
10 / THE PRACTICE
Referral attribution
RebuildXP may use first-party referral attribution to understand how people discover the service and how voluntary sharing contributes to growth. Eligible shared links may be associated with signup and onboarding or activation, as described in the Privacy Policy. Referral attribution is not a paid affiliate program and does not create an entitlement to rewards, commissions, payments, ranking benefits or XP rewards.
11 / THE PRACTICE
Ownership
RebuildXP software, branding, design and original content belong to their respective owners. These Terms permit personal use of the service and do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy the application or use its branding deceptively. Third-party Scripture and other content retain their owners’ rights.
12 / THE PRACTICE
No professional advice or guaranteed outcomes
RebuildXP provides organizational tools and general encouragement. It is not medical advice, mental-health treatment, professional fitness or nutritional advice, financial advice or a substitute for licensed professional services. Seek qualified guidance for your circumstances and choose activities appropriate for your health and ability. Faith content is not a substitute for Scripture, church or pastoral care. We do not guarantee personal, spiritual, health or financial outcomes.
13 / THE PRACTICE
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access for abuse, security concerns, violations or legal obligations. Where practical, we will explain the issue and offer a way to contact support. You may stop using the service or delete your account through Preferences. The final administrator owner must arrange another administrator before deleting that account.
14 / THE PRACTICE
Account deletion
Deletion is permanent for live account data and removes your saved progress and uploads as described in the Privacy Policy. Interrupted deletion may pause the account and require a retry. Some provider logs, cache entries, opt-out records or recovery copies may remain temporarily or where needed for security or legal obligations. Deletion also removes your public achievement shares and removes or anonymizes account-linked referral information as described in the Privacy Policy. It cannot recall copies already shared or cached outside RebuildXP.
15 / THE PRACTICE
Third-party services
Google, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Resend and other linked services are operated independently. Their terms and policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or material beyond our control, subject to applicable law.
16 / THE PRACTICE
Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided as available and as is, without express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy or freedom from errors. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain in effect.
17 / THE PRACTICE
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RebuildXP and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the beta, including lost data or expected outcomes. This limitation does not exclude liability or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
18 / THE PRACTICE
Governing terms and changes
Missouri law governs these Terms, except where mandatory laws of your location apply. We will post revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers and lawful limits on liability continue where applicable after account closure. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
19 / THE PRACTICE
Friend invitations and referral rewards
You may create a public invitation showing only your chosen invitation display name. Invitation links and graphics may be shared outside RebuildXP and cannot be recalled from third-party copies. Referral and visitor cookies capture the first valid invitation or achievement referral for up to 30 days. For email signup, an opaque capture token is also stored with signup metadata so referral attribution can survive email confirmation in another browser. We associate eligible new accounts with one inviter, record onboarding and first-quest qualification, and issue achievements and configured XP through the existing ledger. Inviters see aggregate counts and milestone progress, not invitees’ email addresses or private activity. Authorized administrators can review aggregate qualification and reward reports. Invitation visits are deduplicated by visitor cookie and link; sharing controls do not prove delivery. No Squad membership or social connection is created by opening or accepting a friend invitation.
20 / THE PRACTICE
Invitation achievements and welcome rewards
An accepted invitation requires a new member to join through a valid referral and complete onboarding. A referred new member earns the configured Challenge Accepted reward after onboarding and their first eligible quest. Existing accounts and self-referrals do not qualify. Each new member has one inviter, based on the first valid referral captured during signup. Copying links, downloading graphics, visiting pages, or opening share dialogs do not count as accepted invitations. Referral achievements and XP have no cash value. Program settings may change prospectively; earned achievements and issued rewards are not silently removed or issued again by routine configuration changes. Do not misuse invitations through spam, impersonation or fraudulent accounts. Direct invitation email delivery is not part of this feature; sharing is your choice.
21 / THE PRACTICE
Contact
Use authenticated Feedback for beta issues. If you cannot sign in or have a legal or privacy request, use the public contact option at www.BillTheCole.com and identify RebuildXP. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
